Southwark: local information
There's a lot of local information on the Southwark Council website. We'd also like to mention Southwark Social Services, who support and partly fund the work of Dulwich Helpline. This link is to the community care section of their website, where you will find information about services for adults and older people. See also the Southwark PCT website, for information about NHS health services in Southwark. The PCT also funds some of our work.
Volunteering: national information
Volunteer Centre Southwark has lots of information on volunteering in the London Borough of Southwark.
Volunteering England promotes "volunteering as a powerful force for change, both for those who volunteer and for the wider community".
Do-it.org is the internet's only national database of volunteering opportunities in the UK. Search their site to find opportunities near to where you live, or work.
